BARDSTOWN, KY – JUNE 16, 2021: Jackie “Jackrabbit” Allen, 63, turns a horse in for the night after an evening ride. It's common for Jackrabbit to go on long, slow rides with his horses, casually strolling the fields after a day's work. Sometimes, these evening rides stretch into the early morning hours. "God blessed me," Jackrabbit says. "Horses trust me. I can do good with them, you know? And that's the first thing you gotta do, to get them to trust you. To bond with you."
